Raising awareness of mental health.

The Chooch Foundation is a nonprofit organization created in honor of Justin Charles Shilling who was one of the victims of the Oxford High School Shooting.  CHOCH stands for, "Caring and Helping Others Ofent Creates Hope" also, Chooch was Justin's nickname as a child. 

The Shilling family started The Chooch Foundation to honor Justin's kind nature; he was known for being kind to others.Our organization has a variety of goals.  Long term we aspire to create The Chooch Center for Mindfulness, a community center that would provide mental health resources, education and services to anyone who asks.  Our mission is to raise awareness of mental health, especially in children and young adults.
